LCRC Mass Meeting

By Loudoun Insider

Someone left me a phone message wondering if I went to the LCRC Mass Meeting today. I had much better things to do, so the answer is no f-ing way. I heard it was an aborted gay zombie themed extravaganza, with a special breakout session on the Biblical treatment of Lyme Disease. Feel free to share the exciting details if you participated.

Got another report that Eugene Delgaudio and Dick Black did a skit in drag about the joys of transvaginal ultrasounds.

Because gays and abortion are really the only themes that unite all Loudoun Republicans. You can’t say that they’re all fiscal conservatives, not with everyone adding in their pet spending projects to the budget as it creeps back up from their 5% cut starting point, or the freight train barreling down the tracks to sign on to the Metro boondoggle that has all of the Chamber types excited while about half a dozen hardcore anti-Metro LCRC members do all they can to stop it, to the deafening silence of the majority of the party.

Nope, it sure ain’t fiscal issues that tie Loudoun Republicans together, it’s the social issues. While there may be a few members whose lives don’t revolve around hating gays and abortion, they can’t dare speak out lest they be shunned. All for big spending? That’s just fine – welcome, let’s get you elected as supervisor!

    What a joke.

I heard there was a lot of tequila with the worm being passed around… Led to discussions of whether Ron Paul might be right…

  • Barbara Munsey says:

And Poisson d’Avril to you two too.

I’d love to hear some real accounts–I didn’t go either.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

Contact some of your fellow members of the Government Reform Committee, Barb, I’m sure many were in attendance. Or one of your bosses on the BOS.

  • I want for the first hour. Seemed well run. Sell gave a decent speech. Delgado made a fool of himself. Same old stuff.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

Too bad Whitbeck chickened out on his challenge to Sell, then it would have been worth attending.

  • Independent Voter says:

LI: Did you hear who was the prober and who was the recipient of the TVP?

  • Barbara Munsey says:

okay, LI, I take back the Poisson d’Avril, as you’re being an April Fool all by your lonesome.

You may wish to consider a degree or two of separation from the perennial malcontents of the “real”–you don’t sound edgy any more. You sound sullen, whiny and petulant.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

I’ll repeat my earlier response to you, Barb – screw you and your haughty attitude. I’ll take Realloudoun over LCRC any day. I really don’t know why the BOS hasn’t made you Queen of the county yet, you are smarter than everyone else.

  • Barbara Munsey says:

Okay. Maybe MGS can come back and ask you how the worms taste.

My son’s arm is waking up and not fully subdued by the pain pills, and he can’t play his guitar, can’t skate, no basketball, the sling hurts his neck, and if I hear one more man say “meeeeeeeehhhhhhhh, meeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhh, MHHHEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH” I may start shooting.

Not really, but my bs meter is tuned pretty fine for whiny right now, and “screw you” is right up there with the rest of it.

Hope you had SOME fun on this beautiful day, and if not, well, too bad.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

I did have a nice day, thanks for asking! As you can tell I am beyond fed up with this crap, Barb. I’ve decided to let loose even more than usual. I’m not whining at all, I am simply expressing my extreme fed-up-ness.

  • Barbara Munsey says:

    As is your right.

Glad you had a nice day.

(about to do the night shift–I hope we watch something besides UFC while he dozes between pills! lolol)

  • Pam L says:

Eugene D.. Board of Supervisor is a racist. Let’s bring in the KKK to the Board of Supervisors and return to the John Crow’s laws.
It is open season on black people in Tulsa with three killed. Whatever happened to the 1964 Civil Rights laws and 1991 Disability Act? Down with the Constitution of “We The People”. Down with Women’s rights. Maybe Sherman’s army should return to the South. Equality is for all. Not for the few. Grow up people in the South. The Civil War has been over for 150 years. Equality for all. Equality for all

  • Marion Barry is the racist.

  • TCJohnson says:

Northern Virginia is about as southern as a Burger King
