HUGE, Wholly Unexpected News!!! Dick Black Endorses Ken Cuccinelli For Governor!!!

By Loudoun Insider

Stop the presses!  Here’s the text from Uncle Dick the Mortician (I’m sorry but that image of him as a mortician just pops int my head every time I see him!), which came complete with that heart warming photo above:

“Ken is the most inspiring public figure in Virginia’s recent history…
Ken Cuccinelli never sidestepped an issue because it was too hard… I am proud to announce my endorsement of Ken Cuccinelli to be the next Governor of Virginia.” ~Senator Black

I strongly endorse Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli in the race for Governor. Ken is the most inspiring public figure in Virginia’s recent history. I endorsed Cuccinelli when he first ran for office because he is a passionate man of principle. That was one of the best decisions I ever made.

From State Senator to Attorney General, Ken Cuccinelli never sidestepped an issue because it was too hard. He represents the state with energy and keen intellect. Because of Ken, Virginia was the first state to challenge Obamacare in federal court—and that initiative quickly spread across the nation.

Ken Cuccinelli is an unwavering constitutional conservative. His actions do not require constant oversight because they are part of his inner core; his beliefs do not shift. He took on the toughest challenges at a time when our country desperately needed bold leadership. Virginians were inspired by his courageous defense of a limited, constitutional government and family values. I am proud to announce my endorsement of Ken Cuccinelli as the next Governor of Virginia.

Warm Regards,

Colonel Richard H. “Dick” Black (Ret.)
Senator of Virginia, 13th District

What a cap on the ever controversial Dick Black’s first term in the 13th. So as a 13th constituent here’s what I got:

    1. VDOT authorization to drive their vehicles on the shoulder going to and from accidents. (The most substantial legislation that Black sponsored and got passed)

    2. At least a dozen or more introduced bills that were withdrawn by the creator (Dick Black) or shelved into obscurity. This actually is a good thing because most of the crap was, well just that crap.

    3. Multiple support and votes for the overriding theme of this session social issues. This dominated his efforts even thou he said he wasn’t going to concentrate on it. Look at his votes for proof.

    4. Support for the failed effort to bestow personhood on the unborn.

    5. Ultrasound requirements for woman seeking abortions. Which by the way is a constitutionally protected right.

    6. He failure to support Loudoun’s effort to get anything of substance out of the transportation budget for metro. He opposed the effort for $150 million additional for it. (ain’t related to metro to Loudoun by the way). Can we please get some help down in Richmond getting our fair share of our tax contributions back?

    7. Now an early endorsement of Ken Cuccinelli. Wow, that’s a priority. (Kiss ass)

This guy is a piece of work. Read thru the above list and convince me that any of them were on his list of promised election initiatives. None of this was mentioned. He said what he needed to say to get elected and continued on with what he always did.

No integrity. Too extreme, and too controversial to do anything worth while for my district. Actions speak louder than words.

Seriously . . . was there any doubt?

  • Loudoun Insider says:

Man that photo creeps me out!

They look to be a little too close for comfort. Someone tell Eugene. Oh wait, he was spotted hugging Scott York last year!

Through a twisted interpretation of the Constitution, perhaps. Tell that to the kids who are being denyed the right to life, which, in my perspective at least, trumps all the other rights out there. But I digress…

    The photo is creepy.

  • BlackOut says:

Nothing twisted about it Nate. It’s the law of the land held up by the Supreme Court and protected by the Constitution. Pretty straight forward.

I don’t buy into trumped perspectives that consider self harvested sperm as something that needs to be buried in the backyard with a tombstone put on top of it. But I digress…

It is creepy, cries out for some Photoshop humor or something…

Cuccinelli: ” Did he just grab my a**?”

  • NateDogg614 says:

“Nothing twisted about it Nate. It’s the law of the land held up by the Supreme Court and protected by the Constitution. Pretty straight forward.”

Not exactly. The SC heard a case in 1973 and made the determination that it was Constitutionally-protected based on their interpretation of some of the Amendments. If it was stright forward it wouldn’t be a hot-button social issue that deeply divides the country.

I said nothing about self-harvested sperm as something that needs to be buried in the backyard with a tombstone put on top of it. But, if that’s your (I would suggest twisted) interpretation of pro-lifers, well, that’s certainly your perogative. Even though I think most would find it to be wrong.

What IS twisted here is the idea that a fetus is a “kid”.

  • edmundburkenator says:

    “self harvested sperm”

This has to be the leader in the race for Too Conservative’s 2012 Oddest Euphemism.

  • NateDogg614 says:

    Eric,

I’d put it to you the other way…the idea that a kid is just a fetus. Talk about something as a fetus or a blob of tissue….helps to dehumanize them.

But hey, this is Obama’s America. 4 MORE YEARS!! Am I right, folks?

  • edmundburkenator says:

    Please. No. More. Abortion. Threads.

(At least until there is an issue in the news…)

  • liz says:

“At least until there is an issue in the news…”

Ahem. Like the many bills to end voter fraud, this is a bill trying to solve a problem that we don’t actually have here in this country. We have other problems around selective abortion, but this isn’t one of them.

  • NateDogg614 says:

    Liz,

We’ll agree to disagree on both of those issues, as we are prone to do. ;)

  • liz says:

    K.

I was just pointing out that it is, indeed, in the news.

  • NateDogg614 says:

Well, on that point, we can agree to agree :)

  • clarke conservative says:

Only in a liberal’s world would 1) Genderside – the latest thing we import from China and India directly into Planned Parenthood in Austin Texas … and 2) ‘Pro-Death’ (aka Pro-Choice in Liberal speak) support is down to an all time low be defined as not news worthy.

Truth is putting the left on the losing side of history with abortion.
