Maybe Romney Singing Wasn’t So Bad After All!

By Loudoun Insider

Holy crap, what a frigging train wreck this is!  I had seen the ending but not the whole thing – in its entirety it is even more atrocious, if that is even possible!  This is truly one of the worst performances of supposed professional singers that I have ever seen!

I’ve watched this video four times now. It is still as gut bustingly hilarious as the first time! OMG what a butchering!!!

    “Oh go ahead now, brotha!!!!!!”

Sorry about the NBC ads – I couldn’t find a version on YouTube that wasn’t pulled for copyright reasons.

Love how Romney moves to the other side of the stage from Meatloaf. Really funny stuff. What demographic is he going after here? The “meatloaf males”?

  • BlackOut says:

Go ahead brotha, sing it in tongues.

  • Elder Berry says:

This performance of Mitt’s is about as genuine and appealing as Mitt ever is any other time.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

Just watched it again – still hilarious, still a complete musical train wreck!

Who had this brilliant idea in the first place??? The four of them marching in singing is so hokey, then poor Mitt has to stand there like a lump while the rest of them butcher the song – probably thinking my headline – “man, these guys are really pretty bad – maybe I should have just sang it myself!”

The sound engineer needs to never work another high profile gig in his life. Then again, maybe the guy was a closet Obama supporter! I can see Meatload “singing” at a higher level than the others, but that can be evened out at the sound board.

  • JTHmishmash says:

yeah that wasn’t too pretty, something went wrong with the planning on this one. The two on the right are Big & Rich, one of my favorite country groups, who are actually quite good. I didn’t realize they were Romney supporters.

  • Leej says:

    hilarious well beyond hilarious ;-)

I met Meatloaf actually back then he was a half loaf ( lost a lot of weight) making his big comeback in the green room during the jay leno show. Anyway from the video looks like he has gotten over his anger problems and has a bigger problem trying to sing. Is Romney that desperate to be associated with a star to have this clown campaign with him . Obama has this election in the bag if Romney keeps this up.

  • LoudouninNC says:

    JT,
You didn’t realize Big&Rich were Romney supporters? Doesn’t that kind of go with the territory?

  • BlackOut says:

Romney gets Meatloaf; and Obama gets Springsteen.

    That’s a good sign.

  • Sane Person says:

    Awesome.
Ever wonder why no A-list musicians come out for Republicans? Not one.

  • BlackOut says:

Good question SP, I think it has something to do with that no dancing on Sunday rule.

  • Leej says:

Yep and everything is going to be closed on Sundays :-) from dancing to you know what. This guy can’t be a few moments possibly from being president. My mormon brother is dancing in the streets at these possibilities. ;-)
