Loudoun Lagging in Budget Transparency

Loudoun County gets a C grade in budget tranparency, according to some group I’ve never heard of. Not sure I really care, either.
Well, I care. And, having delved through last year’s budget document online, I agree with their assessment…a middling “C.” It seemed much harder to navigate last year than in previous years.

The report just talks about “clicks”. I find the budget format to be just as challenging.
As bad as that is your neighbor to the west, Clarke COunty pulled down a remarkable D. So cheer up you’e not the worst kid on the block.
