   No where in the ad does the voiceover say the office he is running for, I’m not too impressed with this but at least he on the air.

   Yeah, the same reason if you’re running in the fourth or fifth districts you don’t point out you’re a Democrat.

An influx of outside money on either side could change this, but when Fimian’s job is to boost his name recognition and his position as an alternative to Connolly, he has a much easier job to do than Connolly, who has to turn around those who hold negative perceptions.  With Fimian on the attack, that gets measurably more difficult, leading to a case where Connolly has to spend multiple dollars to get the same results that Fimian gets with one.  Even with outside cash potentially coming to Connolly, it would be very difficult to get enough of it to make the difference.    Oh, come on.

   Keith Fimian is not leading this race. Keith Fimian is not going to win this race. Lets get real here. Good for him for running a spirited campaign. Maybe, just maybe, he’d have a shot if it were 1994 or something. But in 2008 I doubt he breaks 45%.

   If Keith Fimian’s polling shows him leading, than the first thing he should do is stop wasting money on bad polling.
