Not so much.

Obama did not call Sarah Palin a pig, per Marc Ambinder.

And Mike Huckabee as well, per On Call.

Let’s move on, people.

  • G. Stone says:

Visit NovaTownHall- As usual ,Joe B. is well in front of the curve. It took him very short time to expose the media for the incompetent boobs we all know them to be.

  • G. Stone says:

You simply can’t be a credible VP nominee and have no idea what the Bush doctrine is.

Go visit Joe B. at Novatown hall , he again sets the record straight.

    from Novatown hall:

ABC News’ Charles Gibson, who is being credited with stumping Sarah Palin on the definition of the “Bush Doctrine,” has himself defined the nebulous phrase in a variety of ways, including one that mirrored Palin’s disputed explanation.

Gibson and his colleagues have been all over the map in defining the Bush Doctrine over the last seven years. In 2001, Gibson himself defined it as “a promise that all terrorists organizations with global reach will be found, stopped and defeated.”

But when Palin tried to give a similar definition on Thursday, Gibson corrected her.

“I believe that what President Bush has attempted to do is rid this world of Islamic extremism, terrorists who are hell bent on destroying our nation,” Palin said in her first interview since being nominated as the GOP’s vice presidential candidate.

Gibson countered: “The Bush doctrine, as I understand it, is that we have the right of anticipatory self-defense, that we have the right to a preemptive strike against any other country that we think is going to attack us.”

  • G. Stone says:

Where can I find some McCain/Palin campaign paraphernalia. Bumper stickers, signs, buttons, etc.

The McCain- Palin office is located in the clock tower building on Rt 7.
    46950 Community Plaza
    Unit 201A
    Sterling VA

Grand Opening- Monday Sept 15 @ 6:00 PM

  • BlackOut says:

Thank you Stoner. Why isn’t it opened already?

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Last note on the Bush Doctrine from The Evil Karl Rove (aka Bush’s brain, so he should know) – there are 4 official “Bush Doctrines.” They have changed over the past 7 years as strategies change. Now I see on the Washington Post there are at least 7 Bush Doctrines – so by next Tuesday I think the media will be claiming there are a baker’s dozen – and that Palin should have been able to recite them all standing on her head.

    The silliness never ends.

  • You guys keep paddling… you’re sounding a little bit panicky with your repositioning of the Bush Doctrine. Have your checked to see if this is ok with George? (He probably doesn’t know what it is either).

LL, do you really expect me to believe Brent Bozell’s outfit? You must have a little respect left for me… just a little? Link me to LGF whydon’tya.

    That’s the full interview.

  • BlackOut says:

BTW, is there bumper stickers that only have McCain’s name on it and WITHOUT Palin.

I am still pissed at John for caving to the extremist. Who are these people influencing the once strong and independent McCain?

  • Jose Kinusee says:

Yes, I’ve got a bunch of them, but to embarassed to put them on.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Edmund, The partial interview I posted is THE SAME INTERVIEW, only with the edited portions highlighted. I’m glad you found the full interview, now compare it what was actually aired. Do you think ABC is going to highlight their own editing that will show their bias? BTW, I don’t even know what LGF is.

Sadly you are sounding like Richmond Dem with your “check with George” posts, as you like to say – you are better than that.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Blackout, There should be McCain only bumper stickers, I have a couple. I’d offer them to you if I didn’t think you’d bite my hand as I gave them to you.

  • Jose, I think your endless complaints about Palin are running out of steam. If you don’t want the McCain stickers, send them to someone who does. I guess you’ll be starting a Republicans for Obama chapter soon.

  • g.stone says:

it is open until 6;00 on weekends and 8:00+ during the week

  • Jose Kinusee says:

Don’t think that my absense lessens my resolve to root out the hypocrisy of using the church to further ones political objectives. I was at a great college football game yesterday.

  • BlackOut says:

Thanks for being so clear Stoner. I guess I shouldn’t expect much. You made it sound like it wasn’t open until Sept 15.

So, help me here. Is it open during the week? Like tomorrow as in Monday. If so, what time does it open?

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Blackout – Tomorrow is Sept 15 and I believe Stone stated it was the grand opening. You can also go to and they have some information there. From what I understand the HQ had difficulty getting some of the bumperstickers and yard signs due to increased demand, which is why Stone used 9/15 as the date they are open for “business.” I’d try Tues morning, but that is just me.

Do you have to argue even about this?

  • BlackOut says:

Thanks LL, I wish you had responded first, you’re much more precise. I’ll try Tuesday morning.

I have nothing to argue with you about on this, its seems very clear.

  • G. Stone says:

The word is supplies of all stuff McCain / Palin are low due to very high demand and the rally last week that wiped out inventory.
    More is on the way.

  • Loudoun lady says:

Blackout, I have one McCain only bumper sticker left, if you can’t get one this week I can arrange to send it to you.

  • BlackOut says:

Thanks for the offer LL. I am planning on being in Sterling tomorrow and stopping by the HQ.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Last night there were plenty of McCain only bumper stickers.
