Check out this video someone just sent me of Cuccinelli at one of the debates saying he doesn’t want to get his son a Social Security number because “it is being used to track you”.  And this guy wants to be ATTORNEY GENERAL???  Are you kidding me?  A black helicopter conspiracy theorist as AG?  That won’t go over well with a majority of voters, I can assure you.  Especially for an Attorney General race.  Cuccinelli cannot be the GOP AG nominee if we want to win this one.

  1. Can you say Macaca moment! LI, where on earth do you get this stuff, too funny.

  2. Incredible. I have just one question–how will his kid pass E-verify if he doesn’t have a social security number? How could someone be in favor of e-verify and not in favor of getting his kid a social security number?

  3. Where is the rest of this video? I’d like to see this in the context of the discussion. 36 seconds isn’t really cutting it.

  5. is too conservative aware that Foster is claiming that this blog endorsed him? I thought one of you guys supported Brownlee?

    Dan (not the liberal one)

  6. VA Blogger has endorsed Foster, I endorsed Brownlee, and Vincent (TC) has remained neutral.

LL, who cares what the rest of his rant includes – this alone makes him look out of his mind. This is just the tip of the iceberg with the stuff the Dems will have to throw at Cuccinelli if he ends up with the nomination.

  7. God help him. Does he really think he has the communication skills to hit the statewide trail for the next 5 months and actually win???

How the hell does he expect to be an effective Attorney General, enforcing the laws and state constitution, if we’re running around with no Social Security Numbers. I really trust the guy to manage the Attorney General’s office now.

Keep Ken in the state senate.

  8. This relates to my post below, which has been overshadowed by this one now. His great “conservative” credentials are fine for being elected to the GA, but have little to do with being an effective AG. Shannon will all too easily paint him as an extremist out to use the AG office to pursue a blatantly political agenda. That’s not the kind of candidate RPV needs, and it isn’t the kind of AG Virginia needs. Cuccinelli will lose tons of middle of the road support that may otherwise be inclined to vote R all the way.

    Loudoun Insider

  9. Thanks LI. I was just surprised to open my mailbox and get a piece from Foster saying “Endorsement of Too Conservative” with the blog’s logo.

  10. I don’t think Cuccinelli’s supporters particularly care about winning in November. All they care about doing is performing a Virginia Inquisition and purging the state of anything they consider not pure enough.
    Sad.
    What would Reagan think?

    Steveo

  11. Reagan, as an ex-Democrat, would be considered a squishy RINO by most of these fanatics. he would also probably be singled out for exclusion at the convention due to his past affiliation.

Does anyone know if there will be the usual Puritan witch hunt at the convention to try to toss out those deemed impure?

    Loudoun Insider

  12. I want to see the rest of this video.

I also want to point out that with stuff like the “right-wing extremist-terrorist” report from the DHS, there may be some valid concerns here.

Steveo- “I don’t think Cuccinelli’s supporters particularly care about winning in November. All they care about doing is performing a Virginia Inquisition and purging the state of anything they consider not pure enough.”

That is not the case. I am a Cuccinelli supporter, and there is nothing I care about more than winning in Nov.

  13. LI “Reagan, as an ex-Democrat, would be considered a squishy RINO by most of these fanatics. he would also probably be singled out for exclusion at the convention due to his past affiliation.”

    That is an unfair jab.

  14. LI – you could not be further from the truth in your comments about Ronald Reagan. He was a true conservative whose positive personality appealed to a majority of Americans. Something you are not, which is fine, but don’t try to say Reagan was like you or something. He was against the enviro statist agenda you promote.

  16. Brownlee has said from day one that this election, in the eyes of the general electorate, will be about public safety when it comes to the AG general election.

Brownlee clearly has the better record, federal prosecutor, when it comes to the publics safety, in numerous sectors. He is the only one who can take Shannon on, face to face, and win this fight.

This from the Richmond Times Dispatch today.

Shannon, a 38-year-old father of three and a former prosecutor in Fairfax County, has served in the House of Delegates since 2004.

“I want to make Virginia a safe place for all of our families to call home,” he said.

I don’t know where to start with some of you. LI, your becoming unhinged when it comes to KC. You have ground this AX down to the handle. Get a grip will you.

  18. What would Reagan think?
    - Steveo

    He would endorse KC

    G. Stone

  19. My grip is fine, it’s Cuccinelli who appears to be losing his grip on reality.

I love the legacy of Ronald Reagan, but please don’t in any way try to compare him to Ken Cuccinelli or most other far righters these days. None of them have sunny disposition of Reagan, nor the electoral appeal. Reagan was a shining light, while most of these “conservatives” today are dark clouds of pessimissm. Watch that video and tell me where you see hints of Reaganism.

    Loudoun Insider

  20. Our comments crossed, Stone. No way Reagan would endorse Cooch – he’d go for Brownlee all the way.

    Loudoun Insider

  21. Something tells me Cooch self-flagelates every night and twice on Sundays because in his eyes, even he isn’t pure enough. Too bad this neanderthal has seven kids, that’s a lot of fucked-up DNA being propagated.

  31. And no one is more intolerant or more of a hatemonger than Cuccinelli. Just look at the way CUccinelli has gone after Brownlee…I truly hope that no Cuccinelli supporter will take issue with anything here. Cuccinelli and his sleazy buddies have been going after Brownlee’s family since day one.

  32. Let me remind all of you that Reagan was the man behind the big tent Republican Party. That is part of why people liked him. We need to get back to that mentality if we have any hope of winning.
I am afraid for the party if all we continue to put up is Tricia Stall, Cuccinelli etc.

  33. To be honest I have never heard Ken say one dishonest thing about John. Infact probably the worst thing I have ever heard him say is that John has never run a campaign before. Don’t blame Ken for some of the people who are out attacting John. He can’t control who says what, he can’t control who supports him. ken has tryed to stick with an issues based campaign. Don’t blame Ken for others, just like I don’t blame John for LI’s attacts on Ken.

What happens to be is very unfortunate. These kind of statements make all of us Republicans, even those of us who are supporting one of the other candidates, look foolish.

I know this kind of statement won’t make any difference to those who are already supporting Cuccinelli, but I hope they see that this is damaging and something we can expect to see the Democrats use against him in one of their “extreme” style ads.

  39. Could we start a discussion on Obo’s Supreme Court Nom?

    From http://www.citizenlink.com

Sonia Sotomayor admits that she applies her feelings and personal politics when deciding cases. In a 2001 speech at Berkeley, she said she believes it is appropriate for judges to consider their “experiences as women and people of color,” which she believes should “affect our decisions.” She went on to say in that same speech: “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

    Ryan

  40. She’s a horrible pick, I agree, but let’s stick to the topic. And of course if GWB and the GOP leadership hadn’t totally blown it when they had control, maybe the Dems wouldn’t have a filibuster proof majority. They’re going to get hwo they want. Sad but true.

  42. The race for VA Attorney General, to me, is far more then the typical AG Race. It has the possibility of defining which direction the State’s Republican Base is going to go in the forseeable future. On one side, Cucennelli, who alot of Republicans see as extreme(ist), and Brownlee, someone we can see pulling the moderate voters. We have a chance to sweet in November with Brownlee, and put VA back on track, why risk it with someone who lacks control so much he says something like this, knowing he has a General Election to win in November? To me he is shrill, extreme, and has no self control over his comments. He isn’t even a good politician, he barely held his Senate seat agains a nobody. Why does anyone think he has a chance in November. Kooch supporters are trying to make a point, while the rest of us are trying our hardes to get Conservatives back into places of influence, it is this self destruction that is killing us, by possibly nominating someone like Ken.

  46. Perhaps I’m missing something. You guys are against Cuccinelli for making this statement?

A statement like this should make conservative and liberty minded Republicans come out in droves for this candidate.

Besides being unconstitutional, a social security number is unequivocally used to track you. It has nothing to do with black helicopters or conspiracies. Social security numbers are taken and data-filed in regards to bank transactions, health insurance, firearm purchases, and a number of other means.

There is nothing the Senator said that is out of place or factually inaccurate.

    Steve Bierfeldt

  47. steve, maybe you are right & maybe KC is right about this SSN thing (my mother was a bircher & she would agree with him). but its not realistic.

unless KC wants to start the 2d revolution & eliminate govt from 90% of our lives, then he needs to get his child a SSN. or maybe he can relinquish his own SSN. would he be willing to do that?

It’s because of people like you that this Party is in such trouble today.

    Rtwng Extrmst

  56. LI -

I just want you to know that I’ll be voting for The Cooch at the convention just to personally spite you.

    edm

  57. Let me be clear. Cooch is now, undoubtedly officially, unelectable. He will get almost zero support from moderates, so he’ll lose.
I HOPE that we don’t have some sort of weird electoral version of rock paper scissors going on, where Cooch defeats Brownlee who defeats Shannon who defeats Cooch – because that’ll put a dem in for AG. Please, everyone, Brownlee is the winning AG candidate in November. Vote for him Saturday and we sweep!

    anon

  58. First I looked at the video. Right away I noticed the question Cuccinelli responded to is absent. So his response is without context.

Then I considered what Cuccinelli said. The statement is accurate. In so far as they can manage it, there are people using computers to track us, to compile large amounts information about each of us. Each year the capabilities of these information collectors increases. The present and future implications of this effort — the potential for an invasion of privacy — are certainly worth considering.

The use of the social security number by information collectors is contrary to what was promised when the Federal Government started issuing social security numbers. Originally, the social security number was to be used just for the social security system.

Finally, I considered who issued the charge of paranoia, Loudoun Insider. Here we have someone with a history of issuing absurd accusations. One can only wonder what motivates such scummy behavior. Is it paranoia, perhaps?

    Citizen Tom

  59. CT: I know that Cuccinelli is abit of an eccentric, to the extent that many of us feel he cannot command much support in Northern Virginia and will be a drag on the GOP in the general election, but what is his “history of issuing absurd accusations”? A lot of things have been said about him here, but you’re the first to make such a vague reference. And I don’t think anyone other than you has called the Senator’s behavior “scummy.” Pretty strong language, that.

    NoVA Scout

  60. I won’t respond on this anymore because it is pointless. This blog is the perfect example of how split our party is, you have those who tihnk like KC, that think their type will save the party, and those of us who remain Republicans, or at least what we thought were Repbulicans. The “Far Left” killed the Democrats for a long time, apparently it is our turn to listen to our EXTREME kill us for awhile. So go for it, vote for KC, and then find someone to blame in November when we don’t only lose the AG race, but potentially damage the Governor race. The all of you far right bullies can explain how best to save our party next. Starting to think maybe some of you that are claiming Conservative Republican may be better served registering as Libertarian.

    Jp in VA

  61. NOVA Scout, I think Citizen Tom was saying LI’s behavior is “scummy”.

    Kelley,

Have you even tried to look at what Ken’s position is on a whole slew of issues? It seems to me that you are the one who is a “one issue” voter. That issue being anti-life. In other words, if a candidate finds protecting innocent human life important, regardless of his positions on any other issue, you oppose him and call him out as a “zealot”! Methinks you and LI protest too much. You constantly accuse Cuccinelli and his supporters of wanting to “purify” the Party, when it’s you who seem to be calling for certain parts of the Party to “not apply here”.

    Rtwng Extrmst

  62. Jp…you mean people like Tom Tancredo?

That’s one of my major hangups. I just can’t take these electability arguments seriously from a candidate that is touting endorsements from Tom Tancredo and Trent Lott–two names that are absolutely radioactive in Northern Virginia.

Its like the Brownlee that I keep hearing about and the Brownlee that actually exists are two completely different people. The Brownlee I keep hearing about can appeal to the middle. The Brownlee I actually see comes across as a somewhat blood thirsty fantatic who is to the right of Attila the Hun. He’s managed to make Ken Cuccinelli look moderate, which even I would admit takes some doing.

I don’t get it…well, I DO get it. He’s trying to win an election by being all things to all people. Ultimately, though, voters have a way or seeing through that.

I’ll tell you one thing–there needs to be less venom in this race. Cuccinelli’s getting a LOT more than he’s giving at this point, and its making someone like me–who honestly was “gettable” from Brownlee or even Foster–end up back in my Cuccinelli corner.

    NovaConservative

  63. Let’s add some context to this blog…

We just had a “moderate” republican run for President and lose resoundingly in Northern Virginia, to an extreme liberal Democrat.

Now, we have two viable candidates running for AG. One claims to be a conservative, with a history of voting for Democrats, and no political experience or deeds to support any of the conservative leanings he professes.

We also have a sitting republican Senator who has a consistant history of winning in Northern Virginia, great endorsements, and conservative votes to back-up his beliefs.

We then have liberals who claim to be republican and will do anything in their power to take down and defame the candidate with an actual conservative record. They will splice videos, make up stories about flagelation, and do whatever possible to support the candidate who acts conservative (yet without a voting history to support his claims).

Then the liberal republicans repeatedly attack anyone who supports the Senator as being devisive, and tearing upart the party… because evidently, the only way to unite the party in their warped view is to only elect those who will vote for Democrats.

    A Voter

  64. The only person in this whole thread who has said that someone should leave the Republican party (”Starting to think maybe some of you that are claiming Conservative Republican may be better served registering as Libertarian”) is voting for John Brownlee.

That pretty much says it all.

    NovaConservative

  65. So, if KC gets the nomination then loses in November, will it be because he wasn’t conservative enough???

there is nothing scummy about me putting this clip up – it’s a ridiculous comment that will be used against him one way or another. I’d rather have it out now than late October with him as out nominee. Between this and talking to Ron the Elephant Statue the Dems will have some hilarious TV ad fodder.

    Loudoun Insider

  66. NovaCon,

You have it absolutely correct! Let’s not forget about the good-ole Bay Buchanan endorsement as well. When you see these endorsements from the right for Brownlee, endorsements that would normally send people like LI running for the hills in fear, screaming “Party purist, run!” you have to ask yourself, what do these self proclaimed “moderates” know about Brownlee that makes them comfortable with him in light of these seemingly “extremist” people endorsing him? Could it be that Brownlee actually has no real public record on the issues and can say one thing now and act another later a la Barack Obama?

Last point, the venom indeed needs to end. If we as a Party want to win in NOV we need to be able to come together and support our ticket. With the kinds of posts I’ve seen from “Republicans” on this Blog against Ken Cuccinelli, I have serious doubts if that can happen no matter who we select as our nominee, and that will indeed hurt us in NOV.

LI in another thread says he will vote for Ken Cuccinelli in NOV if he’s our nominee, then he posts the conveniently edited video above and claims Ken is some sort of Black Helicopter fearing loon! If in fact Ken really had a tendency to believe that SSN’s were a conspiracy to track us down and enslave us, how in his right mind could LI ever consider voting for such a man if he were our nominee???? Ken Cuccinelli is much more thoughtful and reasoned than LI gives him credit for in this one edited clip. I know this for a fact and that is why I would challenge LI to post the video of the whole question and answer for Ken and the other two candidates on this point. Then we’ll see who is reasoned, and who is in fact trying to play politics!

    Rtwng Extrmst

  67. I agree…would like to see the rest of this clip. We have met him several times and will be heading to Richmond on the 30th to get him on the ballot. And, “yes” , we actually want him to win in November. I am sure his point here is what we all want: LESS GOVERNMENT!

    Republican Mom

  68. This is unbelievable. I cannot imagine a more irresponsible act than to nominate Cuccinelli for a statewide post. Who cares about context? Can you imagine the TV ads the dems will run with this? These are the kinds of moments that kill campaigns. Can you say, Macaca? And good luck raising any money once the ads start. If Cuccinelli is the nominee, the entire race is over. My God, he thinks the government is tracking him with his SSN. This guy is nuts!

    kelley in virginia

  72. Kelley, Ken appeals to many kinds of Republicans, he appeals to fiscal conservatives by being one of the leaders in the senate that stood up against taxs and spending. He appeals to social conservatives becouse of his fight to remove our tax $$$$ from planned parenthood. He appeals to the more libertarian republicans by stopping real id.
And if you don’t like fight you could start by not fighting on this blog and commit yourself to supporting whoever win on saturday. Lets all lead by example.

  73. Well said Lauren.

  74. I’m so sick of the “only conservatives can win” argument.

    Jerry Kilgore
    Thelma Drake
    Virgil Goode
    Rick Santorum
    Conrad Burns
    Steve Pearce
    Bob Schaffer
    Andy Harris

There’s a long list of conservatives who have lost elections, many due directly to how conservative they were. There’s a long list of moderates wo have lost elections, too. Claims like “we only win by being right-wing” are utterly ridiculous, and only put forward by fools who have no idea what they’re talking about.

    VA Blogger

  75. oh, lauren, i was born swinging. however, just in my little lunenburg delegation, we have those who think the ONLY political issue is abortion. these are the KC supporters. so if i start, even diplomatically, pointing out the short-sightedness of that one-issue position, our little delegation becomes divided.

we can’t start building our party back from the ground up if the divisions are so wide & deep.

KC will keep us divided. brownlee (or foster) will seek to unite us.

    kelley in virginia

  76. VAB hits the nail on the head, as usual. We win when we put up good candidates who can appeal to a broad swath of the electorate. We lose when we put up bad candidates, or when we put up good candidates who do not match the electorate.

There’s no magic campaign plan that if you always follow it you always win.

Here is my issue with what Cuccinelli said here. First of all, you need a social security number for just about everything. Regardless of whether or not that’s a good thing, that’s fact. So he’s basically saying that he wants to make it harder for Max to prove his nationality, get a drivers license, go to school, etc. Why? Because “they” track you with it.

Who is “they”? The government? Plenty of non-governmental organizations use social security numbers. Banks? Credit card companies? And what does he mean by track? An SSN isn’t a bar code on your hand. You don’t have to scan it at the grocery store. It’s just a number, one that’s assigned to you by the government and is supposed to be unique.

The whole statement reeks of tin-foil-hat conspiracy theories and makes me question his judgment.

And complaining that LI isn’t giving you the whole context is pointless too. You think the Democrats are going to give voters the whole context about anything a Republican says?

That being said, if Cuccinelli is the nominee, he’ll have my vote. Why? Because our entire field is better than Steve Shannon, quirks and all.

    Brian W. Schoeneman

  77. The “only conservatives”/”only moderates”/”only liberals”-can-win arguments are all wrong. The reason the GOP in Virginia has fared so badly lately (at least one of the major reasons) is that it is no longer is a political party, it is a social club for like-minded people keen to keep the membership as exclusive and homogenous as possible. Political parties, to be successful, have to have an inclusive, welcoming dynamic. They are not clubs. The Republican Party at its best was a very broad-based, loose confederation of citizens skilled in other areas of life who advocated strong national defense, free trade, civil rights, fiscal discipline and sharp-pencil governmental accounting. Within those parameters you could have a Mark Hatfield and a Barry Goldwater. Voters will sometimes go for a candidate who may be a bit more liberal or conservative than they are if they intuit that the candidate is part of a broad-based, competent, reasonable organization where the rough edges of extreme views get considered, but smoothed out before being seriously advocate.

In Virginia, candidate selection has been terribly flawed. We get very poor quality most of the time. There is no effort to reach out to successful people from non-political walks of life to put them forward as standard bearers. This in a state crawling with retired military, academics, business whizzes. When was the last time you looked at a candidate and thought: wow – that guy could succeed at virtually anything he wants to do. Isn’t it great that he’s taking some time to devote himself to public service? Usually the reality is: that guy must be in politics because he can’t make it anywhere else.

    NoVA Scout

  78. Kelley, I understand your frustration with single issue voters but that can not be blamed on the candidate. Many single issue voters are supporting the other two guys I’m sure, however I would guess that Ken has more supporting him becouse of his work in the senate on the issue they care about. In my unit there are a lot of Cuccinelli supporters for different reasons. Several are the single issue (pro-life) voters, there are several “Ron Paul” folks who support his work on real id, there are several who like his work to help mental health and for his work to curb waste in government, there is one guy who is pro-choise who supports Ken becouse Ken has been working to build the party through hard work not just words, my wife and I support Ken becouse of several issues expesially his work to protect gun rights and property rights.

  79. As long as you Republicans continue to have conventions instead of primaries, you’ll keep having candidates like Cooch as your nominees. Simple as that. You guys like orderly control and thus limit your selectors to a very small number of loyalists, and with any group of loyalists, you end up with a large percentage of ideologues. Thus, you end up with candidates who reflect the convention floor and not the constituency they will be voted on from in the general election.

Primaries can be messy and you still have a large percentage of hard-core ideologues out to vote, but it is a much broader pool of voters. The results may be the same as if you had a convention but you do at least have a better vetting across a broader swath of voters.

  80. Again, I never said I wouldn’t vote for KC, and most of us voting for Brownlee haven’t said he isn’t qualified, or done a fine job in the Senate. What we are saying, warning, is that he will not win in November, and some of us care about that. It is from his own actions (his great campaigning as some of you call it) that clips like this come out, and it is the same thing that will kill him AND POTENTIALLY the entire Republican ticket if we nominate him, even if he pulls all of the Brownlee supporters votes.

I like the fact that KC supporters label us Brownlee supporters as venomous or scummy, when I don’t see it. I would never question anyone that is voting for KC either, because I understand why in alot of cases. I, me, myself, just happen to think it is a losing choice, whether May 30, or November. I, like LI, would prefer it to be May 30.

And if you honestly think that pulling votes in a local Senate seat can compare to pulling State wide votes, it is nonsense. KC has as much experience at State wide elections as either of the two candidates, no more, no less, so that argument is just silly.

Oh yeah, and comparing Brownlee to McCain’s run for President is just plain dumb too. Everyone knows that there is no comparison to be made, and nobody is playing Brownlee up as a Moderate, because he is not, he just isn’t as shrill, and can appeal to moderates, there is a huge difference. McCain, is moderate, that is an understatement.

So, KC supporters, one, quit getting so alarmed when people just don’t jump on the KC bandwagon because you tell them to, and open your mind to the idea that the other two candidates are just as worthy of this nomination as your guy.

Oh yeah, trying to say that Brownlee voted for Democrats is ridiculous too. He voted in a primary, for the weakest candidates, done all the time, and doesn’t hurt our party at all. Just stupid some of these arguments.

I have always liked those in our party who will call those out who have a different opinion, and call them names “scummy”, simply because they pick a different guy. Childish, and again, counter-productive to what we are trying to accomplish. But go on, keep tearing us apart. Take all of this as a preview of a ticket with KC on it. This (Clip) won’t go away, and more will come out, that we can all count on.

Finally I agree with NOVA Scout on something! However the ones trying to be exclusive to me are much more often the likes of LI and Kelley (and Jim Rich of course).

  89. How is this in any way damning to Cuccinelli? He is simply pointing out facts, not paranoia.

Your Social Security number is used to track your employment, your earnings, your bank and investment accounts, your DMV record, your tax liability, your credit history, and now your medical records — which will soon be in a nationalized database (or separate state databases which will be linked nationally), thanks to the hundreds of millions of dollars set aside in the Obama stimulus package for just that purpose.

With Obama nationalizing many aspects of the economy — banking, insurance, and investment institutions; car companies; health care; etc., bureaucrats will have unprecedented access to your information, and they won’t need the hint of criminal activity, a warrant, or the PATRIOT Act to do it.

The government also uses SS#s to track your gun purchases. By law, the ATF is not supposed to keep those records beyond a few months. In actuality, the feds have been caught keeping the data for years — a de facto and illegal gun registration.

Cuccinelli and the rest of us have a right to be wary of the government tracking our activities. That’s one reason he introduced SB 1431 this year — to stop the federal REAL ID program from coming to Virginia (another form of federal identification and tracking). The bill (now law) states in part that “the Commonwealth will not comply with any provision of the federal REAL ID Act that it determines would compromise the economic privacy, biometric data, or biometric samples of any resident of the Commonwealth.” It passed both the Republican-dominated House and Democrat-dominated Senate, and was signed by the Governor.

If this damns him, then it damns all the 132 of the 140 members of the General Assembly who voted for this bill.

    Brian

  90. Good point, but I think had he stuck to that Bill in his conversation, and why it is good, versus saying “they are tracking us”, I think he’d be ok. But may give him somewhat of an out, hopefully enough of one should he be our candidate.

    Spank That Donkey

  93. Maybe KC should be careful when he is speaking, there is no context quesiton, or question of slant, he said what he said. Either you agree that they are tracking you by your SSN, or they aren’t. If you agree with it great, some of us think it is crazy. But if I was sold on KC, I suppose the only defense is, “but he really meant this”, or “The entire statement is changed by what he said before or after”, I’ve seen none of that. Why is that? Because he meant what he said. Own it, don’t try to explain it away. At least I did see one poster on here at least defending it, which shows that there is a wing of this party that thinks like this.

What next, should we all move to Montana and build our compounds?

Extreme, only definition that fits for the statement. Extremism, even if it is only the image that will be portrayed by the Dems, will not only cause KC to love in November (IF he is the nominee), but will most certainly have an effect on the Gov. and Lt. Gov nominees. Why risk it?

SO does Cuccinelli not need the exemption, or does he need to apply for a position in Obama’s cabinet?
