Gays, Gays, Gays All The Time At The WaPo

By Loudoun Insider

For heaven’s sakes, the agenda of the WaPo is so transparent and constantly ridiculous!  They continue their near daily attacks on Bob McDonnell by leading with a gay controversy in this article, then try to help their chosen one Steve Shannon with a gay controversy in this article.

Is this the Dems’/WaPo’s new final push strategy?  Get out the gay vote?  Don’t they have this locked up already?  Are the Dems doing so poorly that they need to shore up their gay base?

sorry, this is O/T, but i want to know more about this Chap Peterson. Isn’t he from up there with yall in Nova? He thinks the “don’t tread on me” flags are freaky when carried by unicyclers. (go to Blue Virginia or NLS). Is he in a contested race? (i don’t pay much attention to the races in your neck of the woods). Going to google him now.

  • Brian S. says:

Nice typo in the title there, WaPo. “Opnions”?
    .
And why is this news right now? They’ve been questioning his ideology for months now.
    .
You’re right LI. This is pretty transparent McDonnell bashing, regardless of the issue they picked.

  • Brian S. says:

Kelley, Chap is in the State Senate. He best Jean-Marie Devolites Davis for the seat.

  • kelley in virginia says:

thanks Brian, I googled him to make sure. Why do Dems hate symbols of America?

  • Barbara Munsey says:

I think it’s in the news right now because DC has a marriage issue up for a vote.

It gives an opportunity to turn a DC current event into a Virginia campaign one, through the Coordinated Campaign’s ongoing strategy of the parlor game Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon.

  • Tempora says:

It’s my opnion that WaPo is desperate.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Opnion is one letter short of onion, the whole thing smells.

Bobby Mac is a fundamentalist, Taliban/Al-Qaeda-esque ideologue masquerading as a middle-of-the-road moderate.
    *
The Post is simple calling Bobby Mac out for what he really is: Dangerous to Virginia.

  • Rob Iola says:

IBOB, I understand the opinion (don’t agree, but then that’s why we’re entitled to our opinions), but the problem is that the Post has dropped their Op-Ed/News Room “Chinese firewall” charade on this campaign. The Cooch article is particularly egregious, as the “news” is basically that Shannon called the Post reporter and dictated the campaign talking points to her for publication. I’m sure by this evening we’ll be seeing TV ads quoting the Post with these same quotes. It’s not journalism.

  • Dan (Not the liberal one) says:

IBOB you really crossed a line right there.

  • Barbara Munsey says:

    ibob = six degrees of anger + talking point fixation syndrome, thus A = x, B = x, C = x, D = x, etc ad infinitum

  • G. Stone says:

Kelly- Chap Peterson would not be in the Va Senate had his opponent in the last election, the hapless Jean Marie Devolites not decided to run as the Anti-Second amendment candidate. She, advised by her equally clueless husband, former Congressman Tom Davis decided to invite anti-gun, anti-freedom zealot mayor Bloomberg to Virginia to campaign on her behalf for more gun control. This nitwittery was met with active and stout opposition dispatching Jean Marie Devolites to the ranks of former elected officials.

  • kelley in virginia says:

G Stone, thanks for the info. I joined the NRA last night. but hey, I live in So. Va (think about that–we are the opposite of No.Va!).

  • Ryan says:

The WaPoo is as has an agenda that is as transparent as IBOB’s (and many democrats). Destroy America at any cost.

“The [Washington Post] has an agenda that is as transparent as IBOB’s (and many democrats). Destroy America at any cost.” Speaking of talking points, way to parrot your masters from the wingnut echo chamber, Ryan!
    *
“The Cooch article is particularly egregious, as the “news” is basically that Shannon called the Post reporter and dictated the campaign talking points to her for publication.” That’s a bald-faced lie, Rob. The Post article use Kooky Ken’s own words to condemn him.
    *
“IBOB you really crossed a line right there.” Is that so, Dan-o? How ‘bout Ryan in the post above: Did he “cross a line”, too, by accusing the Democratic Party of trying to destroy America? Where’s your outrage over that?
    *
    “ibob = six degrees of anger + talking point fixation syndrome, thus A = x, B = x, C = x, D = x, etc ad infinitum.” Seriously, Babs, what does that even mean?

  • Barbara Munsey says:

About as much as anything you post does, minus the spitting.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

    G. is right on Jean Marie, she did herself in with the Bloomberg endorsement. Every NRA, GOA and VCDL member probably wrote in Charleton Heston as their vote.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Congrats on the NRA membership Kelley!

  • G. Stone says:
