Greg Stone and Ric James Taking It To Poisson!

By Loudoun Insider

I tell you, the venom coming from the Poisson camp is getting so bad and so ridiculus that the “Poison” insults of Dick Black now sound prophetic.

Greg Stone employed some in-your-face retaliatory tactics and Ric James writes it up nicely here.  Shameful.  Poisson can’t be confident of sticking around if he’s stooping this low.

  • NRA member says:

Wow! going to someones house during a Halloween party. That is the lowest yet. Forget that Stoner NRA’s rants are destroying the Tag race. Next he will assault someone… maybe at the Cascadesfest?

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Poisson deserves everything he gets, his volunteers are rude, arrogant and insulting. His entire campaign is filled with pissed off Democrats and sadly they don’t mind showing their poor manners and bad language in public. I can only think that the behavior and manner of the campaign volunteers comes from the top.

Good for G. Stone, conservative activist and all around good guy.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

NRA member, I don’t think you are an NRA member and I was at the Cascadesfest and there was no assault. There were rude, taunting, iritating and insulting Poisson supporters there – that everyone witnessed – so perhaps you have bad information.

BTW, Poisson wasn’t having a Halloween party, but I am sure it was pretty scary. I find Liberals terrifying.

  • G.Stone says:

NRA or is it Tom from the LCDC ?

Get your facts straight. Tom can’t get a pat on the back from a competitor without whining like a little girl.

I went to Poissons house to highlight his failure to take his own party leadership to task for the awful lie filled campaign being waged against Tag Greason. David Poissons own minority leader in the house of delegates is waging a campaign that Poisson himself has denounced yet he will not denounce those responsible. Ric James has documented this awful affair from day one and has nailed David Poisson as the hypocrit that he is.

The rest is all a distraction

  • ed says:

I too saw the pat on the back.. in fact.. Greg kept the dummydem from getting run over by the hummer! This is the same guy that ran over some signs as he was pulling in (we are lucky they were not kids). Maybe he is too old to drive now?

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Not to mention Tom was ready to be hit by a large Hummer, and wouldn’t move because he was too busy filming it backing up into a space. Not sure why he was taping a car, but his taunts were strange and rude and he didn’t have the common sense to get out of the way of a very large vehicle.

  • Loudoun Watcher says:

I support Greg Stone’s effort wholeheartedly. If a candidate can have a vicious lying pornographic mailer delivered to the Greason’s home, addressed to his wife, and sent into thousands of homes in Loudoun County for children to see, then standing in front of that candidate’s house calling him out on it is entirely appropriate. And… it was a public street.

You don’t sound like any NRA member I’ve ever met, Mister. You sound like Poisson’s campaign manager in disguise. Big disguise. Hope it doesn’t come back to haunt you at Halloween. Oops, that’s today. :) Boo (hoo).

  • Some Dude says:

    Don’t you mean “Tug” Greason?

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Some gross dude. Go spread your filth elsewhere.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

The Dems are awfully bitter this year, aren’t they?

  • ed says:

Insider.. they are preparing for their loss.. give them a little lattitude.

  • G.Stone says:

Joe- Sometimes Dems go so far north of decency you have to operate outside the normal lines of political back and forth. The tactics used against Tag Greason went so far beyond the point of decency it was shameful.

  • Public street. Reading a newspaper!! Gasp!!!
Poisson started this the right way by welcoming TAG to the race and vowing to let the better man win on the issues.
That has devolved into factless allegations and flat out lies. All because the frantic campaign now knows that they’ll lose on the issues.
Poisson got exactly what he deserved.

  • Barbara Munsey says:

Tom from the LCDC? Would that be Tom Bellanca, former failed congressional candidate from Reston who moved to Loudoun in late 2007 and became the Dulles district chair of the LCDC?

What’s this about a Hummer, and who saved him from one?

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Barbara, Basically Tom didn’t have the common sense to get out of the way of a Hummer trying to back into a space. He is one bitter, rude and irritating man. If he is representative of the LCDC, that’s sad.

  • Barbara Munsey says:

There is more than one Tom I can think of; former chair is a man named Tom Beres, but Dulles district is Tom Bellanca. Beres is a retired military man, and I don’t know him but don’t remember him as being a rude nut in public when he chaired the committee. Bellanca is younger, and had a great time on the blogs when he first moved in and took the district chair job being outrageously rude, smutty and stupid all over the place. He then removed all posts under his name from everywhere, shortly after that sock puppets started popping up with the same MO. If it was Bellanca, I can see rude, bitter, irritating and many more as appropriate descriptors.

  • G.Stone says:

    No Tom B.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

I think Bellanca is one of the vultures hoping to get Miller’s seat “when” he wins. Ain’t gonna happen.

  • Barbara Munsey says:

I agree on Bellanca hoping for a Miller replacement spot. Remember the rude sockpuppets on theoperative talking about him as one of the “most electable Democrats”?

  • Loudoun Insider says:

Whatever happened to The Op anyway? I enjoyed the competition and sparring.

  • G.Stone says:

    It was Tom Beres

  • Barb, in this case, we’re referring to Beres.

  • BlackOut says:

Once again, Stoner illustrates how ludicrous of a LCRC representative he is. Give me a break, acting like some holier than thou conservative soldier, he shows up in front of a legitimate candidates house, packing heat, and lookin for a fight. “Hey dude, I hate your politics, I am showing up in front of your house while you have friends over and I am going to be packin heat, just saying, I want to make sure you know I hate you.”
    .
Stoner is the Bob Moses of the Republican Party. Both of them are ridiculous zealots without any common sense, or appreciation for a valid debate between two worthy candidates.
    .
Stoner does more harm for TAGs campaign than good. He should stay away and stick himself in a back room where he just stuffs envelopes. He’ll protect himself from embarrassment and keep the campaign away from having to explain the ridiculous extremes that exist in the LCRC. The less the public sees of the Stoner mentality the better.
    .
The same goes for Bob Moses.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

BO, Sitting in a car on a public road with a sign is nothing compared to lying and smearing a man’s reputation and character. Mr. Poisson will have to live with the results of the disgusting tactics of his party and the nod and wink he provided them, so if he gets a snarky sign near his house – so be it.

Also, where is the heat Stone was packing in the picture? HMMMM, sounds like Tom at Cascadesfest and his shrill cries of “packing heat” and “gun nuts” – he was even so ignorant as to ask if we were carrying “public guns”. He became very agitated and I think I detected some foaming at the mouth. Do you all circulate talking points? Are you all as ignorant as yourself and Tom? Do you see guns where there aren’t any? Sounds like paranoia to me.

  • BlackOut says:

LL, I have no source for talking points. I speak for myself. Stoner is a stooge, in the same way that Armstrong is for attacking TAG. We’ve all been robbed of a stand up competition and it all has to do with party politics from both sides of the aisle. It stinks to high heaven. Stoner is nothing but a pawn in the big picture.

  • G. Stone says:

BO. If I have you this exercised I am on the right track. You are almost as shrill as Tom B.,and equally as clueless.
Here are the facts. Your Guy David Poisson green lighted a low life scum bag political tactic. When confronted he hid behind a bullshit denouncement while allowing the culprit to continue with 5 more mailings. He is both a weasel and a hypocrite.
I went to his house parked in front of the house and read the newspaper for 30 minutes or so. Took a photo or two and went home.
Your fake outrage based on BS fed to you by Poisson’s minions makes you nothing more than a clueless political hack. You don’t get it. Your guy David Poisson is responsible, Armstrong was just the hack t your guys didn’t have the balls to condem.

  • Glen…parking on a public road to read the newspaper is completely legal.. I mean, technically, Greg even paid for a part of that road with his taxes.
Carrying a weapon, even concealed, is perfectly legal in the Commonwealth, given the proper permits….which Stone has.

Now, had Stone gotten on private property, we’d have a story. As he did not, and remained perfectly legal at all times….QUITCHERBITCHIN!!!!!

  • Loudoun Lady says:

BO, Now you are denouncing Armstrong? And comparing his 50K dollar smear campaign to a man sitting in a car is ridiculous. Your argument is easily dismissed by reasonable people.

Please go back to the bat cave and get your next line of attack, you only have 21 hours to come up with something better. While your at the cave, tell Poisson we are taking his seat back because good always prevails.

  • BlackOut says:

I’ll guarantee you one thing. Stoner’s school bully intimidation tactics won’t gain one vote. How stupid to go park a van in front of the opponents house with a big sign on it and think that helps the integrity of the effort. It’s pure intimidation. Ah, unless Stoner thinks he was going to encourage Poisson to vote against himself.

As I said I get my talking points from no one. Everything I’ve commented on was based on what I’ve read here. I guessed on the gun thing. HaHa. We all know Stoner is a paranoid thug and imagines everyone is out to get him and they ALL have guns. I guess I was right. Haha.

This race has turned into the most disappointing display of party smut I have ever seen. And that’s saying a lot. Two good candidates two shitty parties.

Monk, I never said Stoner did anything illegal. He’s just guilty of being real simple. We all know Stoner has had the official “talk” from the powers to be to reign in his thuggery. Guess he thinks their idiots, or continues to listen to the knuckleheads for encouragement.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Intimidation? Well, if you are so thin-skinned as to be intimidated by a man reading the Sports page parked on a public street you have no business being in politics or life. What a bunch of crybabies. Carry on with your outrage while we take the Delegate Seats and the state. You should get a set while your at it.

  • BlackOut says:

LL you’re so predictable, haha. Shallow minds lead to little progress.

  • G. Stone says:

    BO-

These are talking points, and pretty trasparent to boot. Someone from the Poisson campaign must be up your ass with a flashlight.

On this issue you are massively misinformed, typical for you but unfortunate all the same.

“You should get a set while your at it.”

I think she was telling you to get your testicles out of your wife’s purse.

  • BlackOut says:

Stoner, you’re such a tool. Your demeanor has got to be a challenge for the party leadership. You have such a gift for being so unlikable. The real concern here is that you’re a local party official. A spokesman for the group and it’s integrity. To actually think your intimidation tactic was a good idea and to not see how damaging it is to TAG is all the proof needed. You cost him votes.

Now I get it, it gives you big bragging rights back at the range and let’s you tell focus what a tough guy you are, and I know there are a few that will slap you on the back and share a good laugh. It’s such a disconnect from reality. More discouraging is that the party leadership seems to not be able to control your impulses. Or more disturbing would be they don’t care.

Unfortunately, voters see the intimidation, the name calling, the gun, the aggressive dialog and it is a big turnoff. Additionally, it does not portray an organization that is something anyone would like to be a part of. Your sorta like a Delgaudio wannabe without the “charm”.

Now hop along there partner and before you make other judgments on me please recall my similar statements about the despicable use of unfounded charges against TAG. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

  • G. Stone says:

    Blackout:
How in Gods name is anyone supposed to take you seriously ? Voters are turned off by Gutter politics and those who condone it or condemn it with a wink and a nod. Your guy is playing you like a fiddle. You served a purpose years ago and now your wagon is forever hitched to these guys. your stuck and it sucks, but stuck you are.
Your previous talking points and yes they are talking points are almost verbatim the nonsense I get from Tom B. As a matter of fact, he and I just spoke today and the script was identical. It could not have been ant closer if the two of you were sharing a brain. Maybe you are.
I don’t intimidate anyone. Voters don’t give a rats rear end about me. The only one’s who care at all is a small select group of left leaning activists who like you haven’t had an original idea since the Carter administration.

  • BlackOut says:

Stoner, you’re the one that parked in the gutter next to Poisson’s house, liked it so much you stayed 30 minutes. Seriously, how graphic can you get!! You’re part of the problem. We again have found common ground, I agree voters are turned off by gutter politics.

Oh btw, quit assuming, my wagon is tied to Poissons, AGAIN, see my efforts associated with clearing TAGs name associated with the baseless charges.

  • G. Stone says:

Hey agreement ! Baseless charges. Now pick up the phone and beat on your buddy Poisson to drop a dime on HIS Minority Leader. Ask him to denounce the very basis of the charges that WE all agree are baseless, you just said it and I agree. This is the point that keeps getting skipped over and ignored. It is the very reason I had to park in front of your guys house and with the Ric’s knowledge of the issue and words bring this to the fore. No one and I mean no one on your side would even consider the point let alone act on it.
He they or whoever embark on a campaign of baseless charges( your words ) and you equate me parking in front of the guys house as the moral equivalent.
You aren’t serious are you ? Pretending I am the issue is really a half assed attempt to change the subject or draw parallels that don’t exist in a rational mind

  • Loudoun Lady says:

BO, Be a man of your word and call Poisson as G. Stone asked. IF Poisson had disowned the baseless charges and called for ceasefire in the disgusting mailings, patriots like Stone would not have to point out that Poisson is part of the problem not the solution.

FYI, I plan on making a complaint to Tim Buckholtz after the election about Tom Beres’ behavior at Cascadesfest, it was not only inappropriate and intimidating but he made a complete and utter ass out of the LCDC. I would think that Tim would want to know one of his leaders in the community is pissing off voters and scaring women and children.
