Welcome, Democrats, to the world we Republicans know so well, back-biting and back-stabbing.  The gnashing of teeth is well underway for the Dems after their embarrassing blow-out a week ago.

Some examples here, here, and here.

UPDATE:  This was the post sent to me by a reader I meant to mention – an excellent post at NLS by Paul Goldman showing the Dems the way to recovery.  A very good analysis, but something I bet the far-left will not take kindly to.  Let’s help them keep up the internal strife!

  1. LI, the devoutly angry true believers at BC and BV are somewhat united in their condemnation of NLS for supposedly undermining the efforts of all GOOD Dems (each devoutly angry individual).

Those are excellent places to lurk and learn.

    Astonishing, isn’t it?

  2. I think it’s kind of funny that any of the blogosphere folks think that Deeds lost in part because Ben Tribbett criticized him. Really? As much as I like to think about the impact of bloggers, there really wasn’t anything anyone on the Dem blogs could have done to fix Deeds’ campaign. It was fatally flawed from the beginning.

  3. NLS is a realist. BC and BV are not. That’s the gist of the story!

  4. There’s a reason NLS is the number one Virginia political blogger, and that is it. Blue Commonwealth and Blue Virginia are partisan hack sites that pale in comparison to NLS, much to the haughty liberals’ chagrin.

  5. Boy, all of the posts on both BC and BV are long, winding screeds. Who has the time to write that much? They approach the appearance of coming from the mentally ill (no offense intended to the mentally ill.)

  6. LI, you want to talk realism? Ben is number one because he promotes controversy in order to drive traffic. That is reality. A blind man can see that is his strategy and it is a successful one. He isn’t the first and he won’t be the last.
    .
In the past he has done a lot of very good analysis even down to the precinct level. I give him proper credit for very often doing a fine job with that. But more recently he has been downright silly.

  7. I read and write (as a liberal Democrat) at all of the blogs listed above. And maybe I’m just jaded and cynical, but if that’s the worst back-stabbing and back-biting the Democratic Party of VA does after such a defeat, maybe we aren’t trying! After all, Jim Zorn may be a great person, and an always affirmative, soft spoken coach, but that isn’t going to turn the Redskins around. Some times, my mother might say, you just have to yell!! :)

  8. That’s true as well, Dan. He makes his blog fun. I try to do the same here. Sure I’m controversial and overblown at times, but good blogs entertain. BC and BV are total bore-fests.

  9. Once again, we show that conservatives are happier than leftists. It is not surprising that leftists like to bitch. In Ben’s case, he likes to be Joey’s bitch as well.

  10. To think any one political Blog can provide a win or a loss in a election is silly. They have a marginal influence among a specific sliver of the electorate.

  11. The strife continues!

  12. Now, if you’d like some real polling data to digest with that…
