NLS had a great post today blasting our part-time Governor Tim Kaine for jetting off to sunny Arkansas while declaring an emergency here in Virginia. And of course the Dem partisans take to blasting NLS for daring to mention impeachment, which Kaine probably deserves at this point. Just as I never understood die-hard Repubs defneding GWB to the death, Dems doing the same for Kaine makes no sense to me. Both became huge liabilities to their parties and deserved to be thrown overboard.
At the same time, we have uber-progressive Lowell excoriating Tim Kaine for not granting those poor FELONS the right to vote. And on top of this the increasingly unpopular programs of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid (great new example pointed out by Ric James here). And still some of them say the Dems are losing favor because they’re not being progressive enough. Enjoy the ride down from your formerly lofty heights, Democrats! Expect a hard landing (especially if you go the route of being more “progressive”)!

on November 13th, 2009It’s entirely unsurprising that any elected official who hopes to keep his office is insufficiently moonbattish to satisfy the Virginia moonbatosphere.

on November 13th, 2009About that whole felon thing…If you don’t commit the felony in the first place, you won’t need the right you forfeited to be restored.

I absolutely agree that losing one’s right to vote is entirely appropriate for FELONS. What in the hell are the leftists thinking with this? Promoting the voting rights of felons is the way back into the hearts and minds of the indepenents in Virginia? I don’t think so. Are they also going to be pushing for the restoration of firearms ownership rights for felons? Again, I don’t think so.

on November 13th, 2009yall didn’t know that Kaine restored voting rights to alot of felons in Presidential election? and that ACORN went to many jails registering new voters (those in jail awaiting trial, not yet convicted of a felony, were new voters).
