Marsden will get destroyed by whomever is the GOP candidate. I am doing interviews with each of them, have posted them with Marianne Horinko and Steve Hunt. Will Nance comes on Friday. Just thought I’d pass it along. All three seem pretty genuine.
A Voter and Right Wing Nutjob PAY CLOSE ATTENTION HERE!!!
Look RINO up in the dictionary. Marsden’s picture is right there!!!!
This is what a RINO REALLY looks like. They’ll join which ever party will have them. Ohneiser comes to mind, right now.
NLS is totally on the warpath against Marsden, and I can’t blame him. Although his wacky leftist readers are apoplectic.
This just in from Cuccinelli – great line about the house hunting!

Dear Fellow Virginians,
As I mentioned in last week’s compass, I will not be endorsing in the 37th District nomination contest – HOWEVER, I do want all of you [who live in the 37th District, of course] to vote! Above are the when and where for the election; for complete details, please go to FairfaxGOP.com.
On a related note, Gov Tim Kaine appears to have just set a date for the special election to take place. The date, according to the Washington Post, is January 12th, which is the date my resignation becomes effective.
Any idea why it took Kaine so long? Well I can take a guess… Dave Marsden, the presumptive Democrat nominee is moving into the 37th District so he can run for this seat. Trouble house-hunting, perhaps?
This gives me confidence – with our great pool of candidates out there, and with the Democrats unable to get their nominee together, we have a great shot at keeping this seat.
The question is “Why did it take Cuccinelli so long to resign his seat?” He should have resigned the day after he was elected AG. Now that the special election for this seat is January 12 (the day Cuccinelli’s resignation becomes effective) what happens if it is a contested election? Those of us in the 37th would not be represented in this session.
Thanks,Ken and don’t blame Kaine. Your resignation should have been effective before Dec.1 !!!
Dorothy… you live in OZ? If so, you’re aptly named.
Cuccenelli didn’t make this problem. Marsden did, in dragging his feet to get into the district. Are you this naive?
So Marsden determined when Cuccinelli resigned? That’s not the rumors I’ve heard. One being he did not resign until the last minute so he could keep medical coverage for his large family. FCRC was all a buzz last Thursday about this problem and the date of the special election. It is certainly not fair to whomever wins our primary…nor to those living in the 37th.
If you say it’s Kaine fault, then boo on all of them.
I personally know quite a bit about Cooch. I made it my business to find every dollar he’s ever brought in, from whom, and how it gets repaid. You’ll find that in the past, I’ve never been accused of being a Ken “cheerleader”.
I wanted that info in case Ken does something stupid.
Ken did just fine in his AG run, and was a real team player (even an asset)when he softened his regular jive and pulled WITH the team on the economy, jobs and what’s really important to folks in Virginia.
NOWHERE is Ken in a pinch for insurance, lady.
And until they set a mandatory date for resignations by the GA, Ken can resign any date up till that date whenever it strikes him to. Thanks for demonstrating just how naive (or truly vindictive) you are.
Ridiculous. I predict he will fare about as well as Stevens Miller did in his carpetbagging foray.
Do we have any confirmation from Marsden about this yet?

“Coming soon”
The forgot the rest of the sentance
“Coming soon . . . as soon as I move into the district”
The website is the most telling indicator, but I trust Ben and his sources on this matter.
Thanks, Alan. When you get the Nance interview up, I’ll link to all three.
Looks like an ugly pie fight shaping up–or maybe a dirty laudry melee?

Attorney General Cuccinelli, now that has a great ring to it.
