  Didn’t need to go. I’ll miss seeing everyone, of course…but I’m informed of the going-ons, so I’ll concentrate on work instead.

  Last year I missed because of overseas travel. This year I’ll miss because of family conflicts. I used to think of every first week in December as Advance week and look forward to it. I feel myself falling out of the habit. I have a soft spot for the Homestead and am not sure that Williamsburg or Crystal City does it for me. But, rationally and unselfishly, it should move around the Commonwealth.
