Publicly Endorse Keith

By Too Conservative

Join with conservative Keith Fimian’s campaign for Congress by taking a moment to leave a comment of support here.

  • Dan (Not the liberal one) says:

    I’ll stick with Herrity, thanks.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

I like Keith but I can’t vote for him.

  • Dan says:

But his website says he is the “tea party” candidate. Of course you can vote for him.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

    No thanks.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Are you implying tea partiers cross into neighboring districts and vote illegally like Democrats?
I just want the loathesome toad Gerry Connelly reduced to a one termer. Like a wart on a toad – he will keep resurfacing, but smashing him down with a hard blow would be satisfying for Republicans across the region.
Depending on who wins – Fimian or Herrity will get a little $$ from me and I’ll cross those district lines to campaign as well.

  • Not David Skiles (Can't Afford the Haircut) says:

    I’ll stick with Pat Herrity

  • G.Stone says:

    Connelly must go !

  • Very cool gimmick. Won’t do it, but very cool.

  • Dorothy says:

I would support Herrity if I lived in the 11th…guess I could rent a room as Marsden did.

  • Attempting to Support says:

I’m confused; is Keith the outsider candidate, or is he supported by the same blog that has an ad sponsored by the NRSC? Is he the anti-establishment candidate, or has he been endorsed by guys like Eric Cantor? It’s very difficult to find consistency in his message here.

  • A Misplaced Martian says:

Lets be honest. Fimian’s campaign sucks on the ground. His air game (media) is great but his nuts and bolts staffers (aka non-consultants/vendors) are lazy. Monkeys could do better because they at least have the energy to throw their shit around instead of just sitting in it and being too lazy to see what stinks like Keith Fimian’s staff.

  • Lovettsville Lady says:

    I like Pat.

  • mytwocents says:

    Go Pat!

  • James Madison says:

Pat can win in the General Election, Keith as great a guy that he is cant… Pat all the way

  • David Skiles says:

I will stick with Pat too.

  • Another conservative for Pat Herrity. Class Act.

  • NotJimmyCallahan says:

Pat Herrity is the tea party candidate. Duhhh. Fimian is backed by that RINO Eric Cantor and is doing the whole NRCC thing. Pat is the true grassroots candidate that does not care what Washington Insiders want.

  • NovaConservative says:

Yeah I think I’ll pass. I’d like to, you know, actually win the seat this time.

  • Not Paul Blart says:

Sorry, after that spectacle where he eviscerated Herrity for daring to challenge him, I’ve got nothing left for Keith and won’t be on his list of supporters ever again. It’s a shame, because I thought better of him.

  • NoVA Scout says:

Since there seems to be a bit of a current here to get on to a new challenger to Mr. Connolly, let’s not fail to remember (even as some of us, for rational reasons, decide to leave Mr. Fimian behind) that Keith Fimian stepped forward when none of our more prominent and skilled politicians could or would. He used mostly his own money and he gave us an example of a citizen stepping up to offer his services to the public. It didn’t work, and I share the sentiment of many that the smart thing to do is see if we can find a new face who has perhaps more of a pre-existing tie into the political awareness of the district. Nonetheless, Fimian merits a tip of the hat from the rest of us.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

I agree that Fimian deserves accolades for stepping up as he did. Unfortunately he performed pretty miserably and allowed a long time republican seat to go to the Dems. Herrity is by far the best choice this time around.

  • local gop says:

The argument that Fimian deserves support because he ‘stepped up’ is one of the most useless arguments I have heard. OK, so then are you going to support Jim Gilmore for Senate or Bob Marshall over, say, George Allen? After all, Allen didnt ‘step up’…..

  • NoVA Scout says:

Local GOP. I don’t think anyone argued that. My only point is that we shouldn’t forget that Fimian sunk a lot of time and treasure into the last contest at a time when we simply could not find anyone else to take a shot at it. That’s not a trivial thing. I don’t argue that that merits support vis-a-vis Herrity. Virtually all the sentiment here is that it’s time to move on.

  • A Voter says:

I’m going with Pat Herrity on this one… which means that I’m agreeing with TBM and LI!?
This is probably one of the signs that the world is coming to an end. Start reading your Bibles and confessing your sins, people!

  • local gop says:

    NoVa Scout:

Not here on TC, but Mason Conservative has been pushing that argument…sorry for the confusion.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

AV, I bet we agree on most issues, we just disagree on how to get there.
The main goal here is to beat the obnoxious toad Gerry Connolly. Herrity gives us the best chance of that and shold therefore get the nod. Connolly will get progressively more and more difficult to dislodge with each passing incumbent term.

  • Anon says:

Unfortunately, Keith has a terrible grassrrots operation. During the last eletion cycle, I remember picking up signs on a regular basis and his staff were just hanging out. Apparently, they think the grassroots effort solely involved hanging out at his HQ chit chatting.

Fimian is not going to be Gerry (the king of grassroots).
