Somehow I’m Not Surprised – Dick Black Likes Mel Gibson

By Loudoun Insider

So I say I’m taking some time off from blogging, but a couple days in the office and a couple interesting developments suck me right back in (hopefully temporarily, then back to summer vacation!).

Lloyd makes an interesting observation about Dick Black and his FaceBook page and something on that page just jumped up and slapped me across the face.  Dick Black likes Mel Gibson!  As stated in the title, this really doesn’t surprise me.  Here’s some of Mel’s latest thoughts on women and blacks (don’t listen if you’re sensitive to foul language – I’m looking at you Willie!).  If only these damn women would stay at home and wear burkas we wouldn’t have these kinds of problems in our society!

There are certainly a few Loudoun political people who could use Stacey and Clinton’s help (What Not To Wear). That might make a good poll/post!

Sally, name one thing that has been made up about Dick Black. The person making things up about Dick Black, is Dick Black. He’s a liar and an embellish-er. Read his website, self composed bio and campaign lit for numerous examples. I’ve seen it first hand right from his mouth. He’s a habitual liar of the worst kind, he believes his lies.

WHOA such venom, BO. We have found a weak spot! Take a deep breath and count to ten before you start typing, you will get yourself into trouble with posts like that one.

The police officer was a public official and public figure–my point is, just because someone is a public official or figure does not mean you can say things about them that are untrue. Liking Mel Gibson in Braveheart (which even some famous religious leaders like John Elderidge have clips of Braveheart on their websites) doe not translate into liking what Mel Gibson said on tape to his wife, or to what he has said as a private individual. In my opinion it is untrue to say that because someone likes Mel Gibson the actor, they agree with Mel Gibson, the private citizen’s statements.

Pointing out a specific fact that is not true, in your opinion, is one thing, but… well, that is not what you have done… and the Courts have been coming down pretty hard on even political speech that defames people– I also sent LI a court case a while ago, where a judge shut down a website that was anti- a particular candidate, and subpoenaed the anonymous author(s)..

  • sally says:

HWyatt, you should read the case I posted too, because your statements about Bob Maistros, that “too often”… “he is capable of making anything up, hurts innocent people..” is also plain defamation of character, in my opinion, and the Virginia Courts are coming down hard on these kinds of statements, by anonymous bloggers… you have a specific fact to assert, fine, but these broad mischaracterizations are wrong, and regular people need to call you out on it. LI should not condone these smears any longer, and should insist on facts.

Also, LI, is all this fuss about not supporting Lori Waters? I have not heard of anyone not supporting her. Are you saying that she wants to run against Herring?

  • Loudoun Insider says:

There’s no fuss and this has nothing to do with Lori Waters, who probably isn’t running for anything this time around. It’s about the LCRC being smart, like not pushing Dick Black to the top of the list for Senate, a race he will never win, and a move that will poison the rest of the Republican ticket.

Sally, are you a fan of the word police now? Or are you up in arms about the litigious society we find ourselves in today?
    .
I have never tried hacky-sac. It looks lame.
    .
G! I’m glad you’re not hanging out with Bob.

  • I like Mel Gibson.

He is a fine actor. He is also an alcoholic of the sort we used to call, “a mean drunk.” Some drink and get silly and happy, others like Mel, get mean and say hurtful things, or in this case, say impolitic things (formerly known as, “the truth”).

    Let’s review:

The slut recorded the conversation so that she could set Mel up.

What Mel said in the recorded tirade, is all true. She is a cheap tramp who wears clothes that are too revealing and who gets off on being a prick teaser. While I doubt that she was likely to be raped by a, “gang of niggers” she could have attracted the wrong element with her revealing clothing and teaser style. Given that this was private conversation, I don’t think Mel should be severely judged for, “Telling it like it is.”

Who the hell is Dick Black, anyway?

  • edmundburkenator says:

Clairese, when you find out who Dick Black is, I think you’ll really like him base on your comment.

  • Loudoun Insider says:

Funny ed! Always nice to see an American Rennaisance person stopping by. It’s all that slut’s fault!

  • Loudoun Insider says:

Clairese, just don’t google “Dick Black”, you may get some shocking results!

I agree that Mel is a “mean drunk”. However I strongly disgree with “mean drunks” speaking the “truth”. More like a super exagerated view of what they believe the truth the be. Big difference. Mel makes great movies, but he has the personality of a grumpy grizzly bear.

As far as his ex-girlfriend setting him up – ya she probably did. She is a mother, whose child happens to be the daughter of a very powerful man. She is giving herself some leverage since she doesn’t exactly have the same resources as Mel does finacially. I would’nt want to be that kid.

A model wearing revealing clothing – omg, so shocking. It’s not the 1950s. Grow up. P.S., most rapes have zero to do with the type of clothing worn.

  • pgreer says:

I don’t know anything about Dick Black. I think I’d only worry if his favorite actors were Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise.
