Dem Congressional Candidate Resorting To Stunts To Try To Get Noticed

By Loudoun Insider

Meanwhile, on the Dem side, things aren’t any better.  Their Congressional candidate, uh, what’s his name, will walk across the district to try to meet a few people.  Maybe he’ll do better than the “intimate crowd” of less than 10 who showed up for his last event!

Itinerary looks like he’s going to walk down rte 7 through Loudoun.

That should be interesting, especially in rush hour.

Well, since rte 50 is the redheaded stepchild of specialness as per usual (except west of Winchester), I guess I won’t have to reel in the dog for any knocks on the door!

This guy is going nowhere really quickly.

  • As the Chairman’s 2008 and 2009 rule goes…. you still run like you’re ten points behind.

  • edmundburkenator says:

Is this fellow running for office or walking for office?

  • Barbara Munsey says:

I think he’s planned some very careful interactions and lots of photo ops.

Should produce some interesting (and expensive) commercials.

  • Ron says:

So are we going to see photo ops with Judy Feder?

    /snark

    You mean like this?

  • Buffy says:

I think it’s a great way to show his commitment to the people of the district. What has Frank Wolf done other than refusing to participate in campaign events?

  • Buffy, as they say….put down the crackpipe dear, and go rustle up some bloodsuckers (not tax suckers)

  • notjohnsmosby says:

In 30 years as the Representative from the 10th, Frank Wolf is responsible for many important and high-profile Congressional initiatives as befitting a senior lawmaker of such high regard. Such as……..uh……..well, in 87………er……..

Again off topic. But what I heard from my neighbor the other night and his wife is a school teacher.

Ok he talks out of both sides of his mouth.

    Perhaps this human nature.

They scream about the higher taxes they pay on their home.

Yet they want to be paid for the extra two days for the furlough.

And they want much higher pay in the worst economy since the depression on top of it.

And they talk about it like they are hostile.

Something has to give here to have a better economy.

And it will take sacrifice from all of us to make this better for our kids.

We have become a selfish nation and it is going to hurt future generations.

We are a nation of me first but then try to cloud it up that they are the good people as long as they get theirs first.

And there is more to this story how people are scamming their pension funds.

Well enough said I am taking my beautiful wife to the Belmont concert tonight “One Band One Night” For her birthday.

    Off my soap Box :-)

  • Buffy says:

Hey, Leej – Would you agree that letting the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans expire would be a step in the right direction?

  • Buffy – as the rule goes, if you repeat it enough, it will not become the truth. Lots of middle income folks are going to see their taxes go up when those tax cuts sunset. Many of them do not make $250K, either. Just another lie from the “annointed one” moron.
Leave that discussion to the real economists. Everybody but the socialists in the crowd have now figured out that the 23% of the “entitled” freaks that still think this trainwreck is a fucking pinata for their pleasure….is steering as far from this bunch of morons at the helm. They’ve spent five times what Bush did in 8 years…..in 2.
