By Too Conservative

Charlie Crist – check.

Michael Bloomberg- check.

Joe Lieberman-check.

but Tom Davis?

I was a little surprised..

and this “song” by Akon  about the “no label” movement sucks.

Local, You picked MY post out of 4 or 5 similar posts and were rude, confrontation and reaching back to former conversations. I never took the “NO Labels” civility pledge, and unfortunately I am going to have to report you to the Tom Davis civility judgement league. It won’t stand that such a fine mediocre, I mean moderate member of the FCRC won’t be kind and considerate. It’s nice that you are a member of the committee and pledge not to support their candidates. Truly an inspiration to all the fine members of the FCRC.

It is you that opened this thread with hostility, while in the same breath espousing civility. It’s bizarre. Wait, no – it’s hypocrisy.

My one request is to please answer Riley’s questions @ 9:15 am. What are you FOR? I know you are against me (which is a nice badge of honor, thanks a bunch). I don’t want to hear that you are tired, one more minute, I’ll finish it later. We already have one poster with teenage boy excuses on here, we don’t need another.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Edmund, I honestly do not even see where I said I never called the President a MArxist on that thread – but admittedly I can’t read anymore. I am using the “my eyes are tired” excuse.

Therefore, I hereby confess and wholeheartedly admit that not only do I believe, I will argue to the death that Obama is a Marxist. It’s true damn it, it’s true.

Is that good enough for you?

I’ll say it again for emphasis – Obama is a Marxist (and I suspect Local is too, THAT ought to piss the little moderate off).

  • BlackOut says:

LL, if you admit you can’t read anymore, than it is easy to point out you can’t remember anymore. It’s more than just this silly Marxist issue.

You should take notes, it might help you. Or maybe a cassette record might help you.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Blackout, Can you think of more ways to allude to “stupid” and “moron” – you are so creative – did you take an adult ed workshop? Maybe it was a two-for-one priced deal, Creative Writing and Misogyny?

  • Loudoun Lady says:

“FWIW I haven’t uttered the word Marxist – but if you want to throw baby bombs to derail the conversation….”

ED, Should have added “on this thread”. Does that explain everything?

For the third time, I did call the President a Marxist and still beleive it.

  • edmundburkenator says:

Right. Got it LL. I hope you get your tin-foil hat for Christmas.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Great comeback Ed. Merry F’in Xmas, huh?

  • Ravi Oli says:

Ravi would like to wish anyone and everyone a Merry F’in Xmas, and also a Happy F’in weekend. Where Ravi is from, the more F’in, the better. Everyone ends up in a much better F’in state of mind, and with a better overall F’in outlook. So take the advice offered by Ms. Loudoun Lady, and indeed have a Merry F’in Xmas! May your days leading up to the holiday be F’in glorious!

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Better watch out Ravi, the leadership of “No Labels” will surely be after you on your lack of civility.

Might I add, it was Ed that inspired the saying “Merry F’in” – so here’s to F’in Ed!

  • Loudoun Insider says:

    Enough F’in please!

  • local gop says:

LL: the only one on here thus far with a lack of civility seems to be you. I did not attack you, I defended a position that you came out swinging against. As for my personal beliefs I’ve already been around this block with you once and your only response was to call me a liar, so no, I will not repeat myself. You criticize this group because you do not comprehend what the group is about. It’s not about political has-beens getting together for their own selfish interests. The vast majority of members of the group are no names anyway. It’s people from all walks of life coming together and saying that we can disagree without calling the other side a Nazi or communist. Not that complicated to understand, but you seem to have a habit of reading sinister motives into many things that you dislike, so that’s your problem and not mine.

Also, I did not say I “pledge to not support GOP candidates.” If you choose to twist my words, that is also your problem. I said that I will not support a candidate just because of a letter next to their name. No, I would not support Christine Odonnell, she was and still is an utter idiot. I prefer my elected officials to at minimum know what the 1st Amendment says.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Please review your rant at 5:55 am on Dec 14th, I had made one comment, like several others – and you came out wildy swinging. Every post since then has been the antithesis of civility. You have failed “No Labels”. Don’t take it too hard, they won’t be around much longer.

BTW – It was Riley that asked you the question about what you stood for, not me. I guess he won’t get his answer, but no surprises there.

Please prove where I called you a liar. Probably a Democrat, but not a liar.

As for the rest of your rant, I don’t care.

  • local gop says:

How are you reading it as a rant? Were there capital letters indicating yelling? No. Did I leave any exclamation marks indicating urgency in my words aside from the end where I exaggerated the statements in attempts to caricature the attitude of most conservatives? No. Perhaps I am guilty of getting ahead of myself, but no more than you in your statements where you try to plaster moderates as having no principles. Believe it or not, people can have different principles. This is American after all, it’s ok to be different.

You decided to plaster this group as moderate sell outs, I defend them, then you accuse me of ranting and tearing down civility. You are crying foul over an argument you started by asserting a preposterous claim of which you have no first hand knowledge; that moderates have no principles.

  • Loudoun Lady says:

You didn’t defend anyone local, you called me out. Now simmer down and go join the Mediocres, I mean Moderates for a night of lively, I mean not-so-lively discussion. Enjoy the “No Labels”!

  • Loudoun Lady says:

Oh, and please answer Riley’s question.

  • local gop says:

I’m not taking the bait, again, LL. Those that know me know where I stand and know that I am not shy about my opinions.

If you have specific questions, I’d be happy to answer, but I am not wasting my time with a laundry list of opinions.
