Democratic lawmakers in Wisconsin flee the state to avoid a vote on a budget bill that would weaken the grip unions have on the state.

Calls to mind an old nursery rhyme:

“Leave them alone

and they’ll come home

wagging their tails behind them.”

    Wow, deliberately leaving the state to avoid a vote. Unbelievable! Can’t they be removed from office for that?

  • The point of the post was to show that no matter what, the Dems eventually will come back to the state and the bill will be passed – just like what happened in TX a few years back. Frankly, I appreciate the need for the union-busting measures the governor employed, and, once again, am shocked and dismayed at how the president injected himself into matter of local relevance.
